MR E. FLANAGAN ELECTED

Nominations for the seat on the Borough Council, made vacant by the resignation of Mr T. G. Hoar, closed at noon to-day. The only nomiuation received was that of Mr E. Flanagan, who was accordingly declared duly elected. Mr Flanagan was nominated by Messrs G. H. Cullen, E. G. Eton, J. Cross and W. L. Falconer.
