LONDON, Tuesday.
During the Budget debate the Opposition moved to compel payment to the sinking fund of tho surplus remaining after meeting the Chancellor's requirements for additional naval expenditure or losses sustained through the industrial troubles. Tho amendment was negatived by a majority of 85.
