MASTERTON STATISTICS,
The following are the Court ami vital statistics iv Masterton for the month of April:— Births 23, marriages 7, deaths '4. There wore no bankruptcies during the month, and neither were there any during the samo month las t year. Diiring the first four months of 1912 two petitions iv bankruptcy were filed, both in the month of March, neither of the petitioners being residents of Masterton. For the same period of r.)12 there were ten bankruptcies. There were three convictions for drunkenness recorded in the Magistrate's Court for April, compared with four last year. Two old ago pensions and two widows' pensions were granted.
