HILL AND MCALISTER COME TO BLOWS.

Press Association —Electric Teleeraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, Monday. Saturday's ombrogiio in Sydney between Clem. Hill and McAlister is boing generally discussed. McAlister declines to say anything. Hill states that during the mooting of tho Selection Committee, McAlister repeatedly insulted him by criticising his captaincy, saying that it was tho worst ho had seen. Hill remarked, "Repeat that, audi will pull your nose!" McAlister persisted, and Hill slapped him in the face with a back-hander. McAlister retaliated, and a light resulted, which occupied ten minutes. Hill immediately wrote out his resignation of tho selectorship, and declines to act on the Committee with McAlister. Tho Board of Control will meet shortly to consider the ombrogiio.
