SHOT IN THE STREET.
M RESULT OF A DIVORCE CASE.
*9ress Association—Eleotrio Telegraph—Cbpyrigbt. Received Tuesday, 8.30 a.m. MELBOURNE, Tuesday.' A tragedy occurred at East Melbourne where a man named Tullidge was shot dead by another named Holt.' Tullidge' recently obtained a divorce from his wife; Holt being co-respond-ent. ' "••■■■•■..
Holt and Mrs were walknig in the street when Tullidge accosted them and a struggle between the two men ensued and two shots were fired.
Holt has been arrested. He declares that Tullidge attacked him and he shot him in self-defence.
