Honesty was a chestnut horse foaled in 1877. He was imported to Melbourne from California about 1883. Hia record for the mile is 2min 25£ sec. DALMUIR is a dark chestnut, and stands 16 hands 3 inches high, well-balanced, evenly marked horse of great weight and substance, possessing rare good feet, pasterns, nice quality of hair, legs, and a great top. He is a tremendously straight level mover, and has the activity of a tip-top breeder, and a sure foal-getter. This horse's carthorse stock is selling well in New Zealand. Hβ is also one of the finest-tempered horses to be found. Hβ has many first prizes to his credit, and his stock are highly spoken of in the Clutha distrct. From his pedigree it will be seen at a glance that he is one of the beet, and his euperb quality will satisfy the most critical. His sire, Dalmuir Piince (imp.), is a great Show horse and also a great breeder. His performances read: —32 firsts and champions, 1 second and 3 third prizes.
