Tin , report published in yesterday's issue, stating that the racehorse Lord Palmer luuf died yesterday morning, w:ts incorrect. The horse which died war a gelding by Porirua belonging to the saiin' owner.' In fairness to onr sporting contributor we miglit .state that the information was not supplied by him. Our informant was evidently not aware that the owner of Li.ii'd Palmer had another horse in tne same stable, and he jumped to tlie conclusion that it was the sou of Lord Loch which Irid departed this life.
