INCENDIARISM.
RESULT OF OVER-INSURANCE
SYMPATHY WITH CRIMINALS. Press Association—Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, at 0.40 a.m. SYDNEY, Friday. Tbe coroner at Murrumburrah, iv returning a verdict of incendiarism at the inquest into the fire which occurred ou January 2nd, destroying six shops, declared that he could not make a committal; he could only say that the fire was wilfully started. There were many such cases during tbe past year as a result of overinsurance. Another reason making these cases difficult to cope with, w T as the sympathy shown by juries with criminals.
