Tho Methodist limes says that the Government must obtain a satisfactory declaration from tho Papacy whether the recent < ecree, prohibiting the suing of Catholic clergy iv secular courts without the permission of tho head of the Church, is applicable to Irelaud. It was impossible to accept Archbishop Walsh's statement as the final word.
