At the Supreme Court to-day, before Mr Justice Chapman, James Whiting, who was found guilty of attempting to carnally know his own daughter, fourteen years of age, and of indecently assaulting her, was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment. A nolle prosequo was entered on a charge of incest.
