NAVAL PRIZE BILL.

AMENDMENT NEGATIVED

Press Association—Electric Telegraph—Copyright Received Saturday, 8.15 a.m. LONDON, Friday. The Naval Prize Bill was read a third time by 172 votes to 125. Mr Atheriey-Jones' amendment to omit clause 8 was negatived by 212 to 115. Mr J. F. Finlay, Sir E. Grey and others re-discussed the conversion of merchantmen. Sir E. Grey declared that the Bill had not pledged the country to ratify the declaration and if others hung back we could ao the same.
