MR NEILSEN RESIGNS.
Received Tuesday, at 9.55 a.m. ° SYDNEY, Monday. Mr Ncilsen resigns tho portfolio of Lands to-day.
Earlier messages state that Mr G. 0, Wade, owing- to- his inability to persuade the Lieut. -Governor to grant a dissolution, returned his commission to form a Ministry.' Later, Mr Holmau was sent for, and he had tw r o interviews with the LieutenantGovernor, who asked him to withdraw' tho resignation of tho .Government, and granted tho condition asked for, that Parliament should prorogue over the bye-election.
