In the Senate, during the debato on the Reciprocity motion, Senator Cummins -warned the Republicans that the passage of the Bill would mean the ruin of tho Republican Party. He contended that; the Bill was drawn up imperfectly, and consequently Canada was able to recognise one-half of it without being compelled to accept the AA'hole.
