THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The current programme at the Foresters' Hall was shown again last evening to a good attendance. The pictures cover a wide range of subjects, and each has some outstanding feature to recommend it. Of a capital budget of dramas, "The Test" and "A Girl of the Mountains" -were the favourites. In the former the worldfamous actress, Miss Flo Lawrence, takes the leading role, and in the latter Miss Florrie Turner and Martin Oostello are the principals. ' Three Men and a Maid" was a delightful comedy, in which Miss Turner and Mr Co'stello were again associated in the chief characters. Another very interesting film was that showing the competitors in a children's beauty competition. Amongst other pictures worthy of mention were "Glimpses of Bird Life," "Getting Even," "Foolshead as Lady Companion," "Merry Wives of Windsor," and "The Stag Hunt." The programme will be repeated this evening.
