Marlborough Cup, one ami a-quar-ter.—Gunboat 1. Beacon 2, Direntoiie Ji. Also started—Eqnitas, Merrie Zealand, Aiuiwell, Ahorration, Kilosteri, Laius and Hilarian. Directoire and Equitas .led uaKt the stand, Beacon lying third. At the t'our-furJoug post Beacon went to thn front. Ten lengths from honii', Gunboat came tluough, and the pair fougnt out the fiuish, Gunboat winning by half a length. Equitas, the favourite, finished in the ruck. Time, 2uiiu Ssec.
Autumn Hack, six furlongs.—Ahuapai 1, Negative 2, Merrie Time 15. Also ran—Dauntou. The winuer led nearly the whole way, winning by a neck from Negative, who fiuislied fast. Time, lmiu l(i 2-ssec.
Flying Handioup, six furlongs.— Glenspring I, Merrie Frank 2, Red Lnpiu 3. Also ran—Zealand, Tutunt and Splash. The winner led the whole way, and won by a length. Time, lmiu loser.
Electrio Hack, five furlongs.—Undecided 1, Allurement 2, Septimus !!. Also ran—Merrie Goer, Gleurook and Gfordie. Won by a length. Time, 1 ruin iisec.
