MASTERTON CLUB.

° There was a good attendance of players at the meeting held In Murray's Hall last night for the purpose of forming a Hockey ulub to take part in the Wairarapa Hockey Associatiou's championship matches.

It was decided to form a Olub, to be known as the Masterton Hockey Olub. *2The subscription was fixed at ss, aud it was decided that the colours of the club be "all black."

The following officers were elected : Patron, Mr James Macara: presideut, Mr G. R. Sykes; vice-presidents, Dr Cowie and Messrs Donald Donald, H. T. Hume, A Hendersou. and E. G. Eton; captain. Mr J. B. Rue; vicecaptain, Mr H. H. Donald; secretary and treasurer, Mr E. R. Wilsou; management committee, Messrs J. V. Gordon. H. H. Reyuolds, W. Hornblow and J. Gray ; delegates to Wairarapa Hockey Associatiou, Messrs Perrin aud Gray ; committee, captain, secretary and Mr Hornblow.

The now team will play a practice ■kuatch agaiust St. Matthew's junior "earn at Lausdowue to-morrow afternoon. The following members, aud other intending members, are requested to attend.:—Donald, Gordon, Mc Ginnity, Parker, Suttou, Perrin, Baker, Gray. Hornblow, Eraser, Reynolds, Wilson aud Rue.
