HEAVY-WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP.

NAPIER. Thursday
A fight for the heavy-weight championship of New Zealand, between Bill Rudd and J. Blackmore (New South Wales), tooK place at Hastings to-night. After fighting for 2min 55sec °in the first round, Blackmore went down, and Rudd struck him. The referee interfered, and awarded the fight to Blackmore on a foul.
