LONDON, Thursday. The Right Hon. Sir Charles Weutworth Dilke, Baronet, MP., aged 68. Received Friday, at 10 a.m. LONDON. Thursday. Sir Charles Dilke, M.P. for the Forest of Dean, returned from Hyeres on Saturday, and had since beeu confined to his bed.

Sir Chas. Dilfee, the second baronet, succeeded in 18(59, aud was married in 1872 to Miss Katherine Sheil, who died 1874. Iv 1885 Sir Charles married Emilia, widow of Dr Mark Pattison .(rector of Lincoln College, Oxford). Sir Charles Dilke was educated at Cambridge, and during his Parliamentary career he served on many important Boards, Commissious, etc. He was a man of striking ability, but through his connection with a social scandal at one time, his usefulness was interrupted for a term of years.
