Mr David Graham Phillips, editor and novelist, has been shot in New York. His assailant was a Harvard man named Fttzhugh Goldsborough. The murderer afterwards shot himself with a revolver, dying instantly. It is belioved he was insane. Mr Phillips will probably recover. The motive for the tragedy is uukuowu.
