THE TIMETABLE.
Alterations in the rnuuiug of trains on the Wellingtou-Palmerstou, Pa,l-morstou-Napier, ami WelliugtonWoodvillo lines are auuouuced, aud wiJl take effect ou and after April Ist. The dally connection now provided between New Plymouth and Napier is to be abandoned, but Auckland and New Plymouth passengers will still bo able to' complete the through journey between these points within the day. The only alteration aifecting Wairarapa is. that the train at present leaving Welliugtou for Woodviile at 7.50 a.m. will the city at 7.45 a.m. and will run five minutes earlier to Kaitoke than at present. * ■ ■
Tug present 12 noon train, Palmerston North to Woodvilie, will leave Palmerstou 11.48. A goods train, with car attached, will leave Woodvilie for Palmerston at 11.45 a.m., connecting at Wooclville with morning trains from Gross Greek and Waipukarau.
