ANNUAL MEETING
AN EXCELLENT CREDIT
BALANCE
The members of the Wairarapa Hunt Olub held their annual meeting at the Club Hotel yesterday afternoon, Mr W. H. Buick presiding over a good attendance of members.
The report and balance-sheet, already published in the Daily Times, were read and adopted, showing a very satisfactory financial condition, with a credit balance of £137. It was resolved that £100 of the money be invested in the Post Office Savings Bank for the benefit of the Olub.
Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr William Strang ; President, Mr O. F. Vallance; Master, Mr W. li. Buick; Deputy-Master, Mr 11. Buick; Huutsmau, Mr H. O. (Sam) Bunny; Committee, Messr3 W. H. Buick. R. Bnick.G. H. Perry. O. J. Bennett. F. B. Vallauce, F. Evaus, W. D. Watson, W. Howard Booth, Dr Archer Hoskiug, R. Morrison, H. Douglas, N. Douglas aud A. G. Piiiuer. A subcommittee, consisting of Messrs \V. H. Buick, W. Howard Booth, G. H. Perry, O. J. Bennett aud the secretary (Mr "N. H. James), was appointed to draw up rules to govern the Olub during the present season.
Ifc was resolved to register the Olub under the "Unclassified Societies Act."
After some discussion on the advisability of adding fresh hounds to the pack, the secretary was instructed to write to the various Olubs to soo if any hounds were procurable.
It is proposed to comrneuce the season about the middle of April.
