A mau, named Ziuimormau, who lias been married to twenty-four women since 187-2, was sentenced to imprisonment at Brooklyn on a charge of perjury iv swearing that he was not married when he applied for the marriage license for his tweuty-fourth marriage. ORANGE BLOSSOMS. PERCY—KING. A very pretty wedding took place at the Methodist Church yesterday, the contracting parties being Mr Herbert William Percy, of Feruridge, and Miss Aume Elizabeth King, youugest daughter of Mr F. Kiug, of Mastertou. The bride was given away by her father, and was very prettily attired iv a semi-Empire frock of silk eolieuue, with effective lace trimmings, aud also wore the customary veil aud orange blossoms. She carried a beautiful bouquet of lilie*-, white dahlias, ro*-es and maiden-hair fern. Misses E. Prentice, Olive Spen cer and Flossie Wilton attended as bridesmaids. Miss Prentice's frock was in semi-Empire style, made of creauMashmere prettily trimmed with silk,-W_d siie carried a mauve shower bouquet. The other two bridesmaids, Misses Olive Spencer and Flossie Wilton, looked very attractive iv pale blue silk dresses with cream insertion and lace. Both carried baskets of flowers. Mr W. King was best man, aud the ceremony was performed by the Rev. C. E Porter.

A receptiou was held later at "Barustoue Lodge," the resilience of the bride's parents aud about eighty guests were entertained and the usual toasts duly l.ououred.

The newly-wedded couple left by the afternoon train for Wellington. From thence they will proceed North ou their honeymoon tour. The bride wore a nay3 7 blue tailor-made dress, with white silk hat with velvet trimmings. A large number of valuable presents testified to the esteem in which the young people are held.
