JUDGES' REMARKS,

Mr O. Percy's stack was 55 feet at fcne base. It; was fairly oven in build from base to top. The butt was very regular iv spring, but the hang of the sheaf was barely as good as thafc of Mr Evans' stack. Projection and the hang of the sheaf at eaves, aud the pitch of the roof above the same were very good. The hang of sheaf in the roof, the shape and compactness of the roof, aud the general proportion aud finish were good. A little slackness was noticeable at tiie apex aud the addition of four or five more sheaves would have been a decided improvement. Altogether a well-built stack, capable of turning a winter's rain.

Mr F. Evnus' stack was also about 55ft at base, and even aud regular in build. The butt was a trifle irregular, there being a bulge about midway up. The projectiou aud baug ot sheaf aud eavos were good. The pitch of the roof immediately abovo the eaves uould havo been slightly improved upon. The general pitch of the roof and the hang of the sheaves therein and compactness were good. The roof in our opinion was a little straight; a concave roof is to be preferred.

Mr JDaley's stack was about 52ft at base. The butt had a decided list, which detracted from the general appearance of the stacK. The hang of the sheaves in the roof was decidedly good, but the "joints" were not broken nearly enough. Decided openings between sheaves from cave to apex were noticeable. Notwithstanding this defect, the roof was a fairly safe one.
