SHACKLETON'S DASH FOR THE POLE.

Mastertou is to be given an opportunity, on Monday and Tnesday, of seeing the really first-class picture show depicting Sir Ernest Shackleton's dash for the Pole. The pictures were secured by Mr O. Spencer of the Lyceum Theatre, Sydney, aud they show the activities of the life and the adventures of tho expedition iv the dash for the Pole, its life aud quarters, its intercourse with the giaut colonies of Emperor penguins aud its work of provisioning and hutbuildiug, etc. The other great feature of the programme is a splendid series of pictures of a snow carnival at Mount Kosciusko, New South Wales. There are many other iirst-class films, which make up a spleudid programme. The prices are very reasonable, aud a good house should greet Mr Spencer's show on Monday evening.
