MANAWATU RACING CLUB.

The autumn meeting of the above Club takes place on Wednesday and Thursday, April I'Jch and 14th. In all respects the programme is identical with the one that led to such a five gathering twelve months ago. On the first day pride of place is taken by the Mauaw'atu Sfcaiies, which promises to attract a splendid field and give rise to a spirited' contest. Among the other items the most important are the Longburu Haudicap of 200sovs, nine furlougs ; Dominion Cap Handicap of aOO soys, nine furlongs; and Juvenile Handicap of 150 soys, five furlongs. Nominations close with the secretary (Mr J. M. Johnston) on Friday 18th inst., at 10 p.m.

Tlie following additions have been made to the list of nominations for the Wellington Racing Club's autumn meeting :—Waiwetu Handicap, Bridge, King's Prize; Thompson Handicap, King's Prize; Pluuket Nursery, Longwood; Railway Handicap, Toanga; Hutt Haudicap, King , ? Prize; Autumn Handicap, King's Prize and Tainaanupo; Pacific Handicap, Longwood; Suburban Handicap, Toanga. Guianforte was not entered for the Autumn Haudioap.
