SOFIA, Tuesday
Stifauoff. a Bulgarian, abducted a Mussuluiau girl. The Courts decided that as she was a minor she must be returned to her paueuts. The populace at Rustchuk, supported Stifauoif's resistance to the decree, and as a result the police killed sixteen aud wounded oue hundred people who demonstrated in his favour. Many were wouuded seriously.
The Minister of the lutorior (M. Takeff) is widely blamed, aud likewise the police aud military at Rustchuk for over-zealonsly aud culpably executing the Courts' order in the face of public excitement.
King Ferdinand is much upset over the luoidcut.
