Tlie hemp market is lifeless, with no change iv prices. The stock of New Zealaud hemp ou haucl is J ( .)8 tons. The week's output of hemp at Manila was ID.OOO bales. (Last week's quotations were: Spot, New Zealaud good fair, £•>», fair £24; Manila, fair current £25. Forward: Good fair, £->4 15s; fair £->'6 15s; Manila £21. )

The cocksfoot seed market is quiet, but firm. Stocks on haud are moderate. New Zealaud bright cleau 171b seed, 72s per cwt.

The kauri gum market is firm, with improved deinaud. Ordiuary to tair three-quarter scraped, £8 10s per cwt. Fair half-scraped, £5 ss. Bush fair to good pale and amber, scraped, £8 10s; browu, half to three-quarter scraped, !)2s (id; brown pickings, common to good, 455.

The pea market is steady, without animation. New Zealaud Partridges, 55s per 50-1 lbs.

The beau market is firm, owing to reduced supplies. New Zealand beans, old crop, 40s Gd per 504 Ib. The hop market remains firm. There is a general aud active demand, aud prospects are favourable.
