WEDDINGS.

TRAPP—WOLTERS.

4 wedding in which considerable interest was centred was solemnised in St. Mark's Church, Oartertan, yesterday afternoon, when Mr Bnrney Trapu was united in matrimony to Miss Woiters, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs H. H. Woiters, of "Richmond," Oarterton. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a dress of white satin charmeuse, embroidered with silver tissue, and wore the usual veil and orange blossoms, the latter having been worn by the bride's grandmother some sixty years ago. The bridesmaids were Miss Booth and Miss Olive Woiters (sister to the bride), who wore white net over white satin., with white hats trimmed with gold leaves and black roses; also Miss Barge Tully (cousin of the bride), who wore white muslin with whito net iiat. All carried bouquets of crimson dahlias. The bridegroom, was at - tended by Mr G. H. Woiters and Mr Barry Waters. The Rev. R. Young, vicar of St. Mark's, was the officiating minister. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a'gold cablo bangle, and the bride gave the bridegroom a gold albert. The two elder bridesmaids were given turquoise and pearl matrix bangles,and the younger a chain with enamel pendant. The church was crowded with wellwishers, and as the young couple left the sacred building, amid the usual favours, Mr Eric Waters (cousin of the bridegroom) played the Wedding March.

A receptiou was subsequently held at the residence of the bride's parents. Tin bride's mother was dressed in a blue directoire gown and hat of silver straw trimmed with white feat tiers; the bridegroom's mother was gowned in black and grey striped eolienne, with a mauve hat; Mrs Fowler (aunt of the bride) wore green chiffou cashmere with hat to match; Mrs Gil Tully (Waikauae) wore grey chautung coat and skirt braided with black, with hat to match; Miss Tully (aunt to the bride) was gowned in vieux rose eolienue, with Tuscan straw hat trimmed with roses;. Mrs Waters (Karori), aunt of the bridegroom, wore a black chiffou taffeta directoire gown, with black hat with white feathers; Mrs Beauchamp (Wellington), also au aunt of the bridegroom, wore grey trimmed with black and green, with hat to match; Mrs Frank Dyer (Wellington), natural chantung coat and skirt, with black hat; Mrs Kirk (Christ-church), black silk, with black and white toque; Miss Mauusell, white Teueriffe frock and coat of Irisn lace, aucl black hat;. Mrs Fey, striped voile over blue, with black hat;: Mrs Cotter, mauve satin charmeuse, with hat to match; Mrs (Dr) Fitchett, chautung dress witn Roman em-broidery-Mrs Chennells, green satin charmeuse, and hat trimmed- with roses;: Mrs (Dr) Hosking, mauve dress with a heliotrope toque; Mrs Payton, a black satin dress and black toque. Among others present were Mesdames Booth, Diddams, Ferry (3), Maunsell, MacGouu, Moss, Seddou (Wellington), Johnston, Bunny (3), Wardell, Lamb, McLaren, Morrison, Light-foot, Dollar, Trimble, Wardell, Misses Diddams (2). Booth (2), McLachlan, Tate, Derry, Vallance (2), Macara, Paytou (3), Young. Livingstone, Beauohamp, MacGouu, Wyett (3) Fowler, Young, Drs Bey, Johnston and Hoskiug, Messrs Buchanan, M.P., Cotter, Bunny, Lamb, Jackson, Waters, Dyer (3), Robinson, Maunsell (2), Moss, Burns, and Fowler.

The newly-wedded couple left later in the afternoon for Palmerstou North by motor cat, the bride travelling in a purple coat and skirt, with purple hat trimmed with lilac.
