CASHIER MURDERED.

Thaiu, a cashier in the Lille branch of the Bank of France, called .at a fashionable private house to receive 4000 francs, aud was robbed and murdered. His body was discovered in a, garret. Antoine Favier. the owner of the house, absconded with 6000 francs belonging to tha Lille branch.
The townsfolk tried to lynch Madame Favier, who was arrested by the mounted police, who rescued her.
