Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale of yesterday as follows:—We submitted a very heavy yarding of sheep and a good yarding of cattle to a large attendance. The sheep entered comprised lambs of medium quality, which did with keeu competition; all sheep of good quality met with ready sale. All classes of cattle sold well, especially young steers. Quotations : —Young ewes, 12s 4d to 13s 3d; aged ewes iv poor condition, 3s to 3s 3d; forward wethers, 11s to lls 8d; 2tooth wethers, 9s 4d to 10s Gd; good lambs, (is Gd to 7s; medium lambs, 4s 3d, 4s lid, 5s 9d, (is Id; others, 3s to 3s Sid; culls. 2s to 2s 9d; good Liucolu rams, £2 to £2 10s; 3-year steers, £4 lls to £4 13s <kl; 2-year steers, £3 6s to £3 10s; (5 18-month steers, £2 lls (kl to £2 12s (id; good ■weaners to 3tfs; others, Kis to 2(>s;

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on thoir Pahiatua sale as follows:— We had a heavy yarding of sheep, all of we disposed of, aud a small entixor cattle. Prices ranged as follows:—Gull lambs to is (ki; storo lambs, os -Id, 4s (id, (>s 6d, Gs 10d; cull ewes, 3s 9it to 7s Oil; cull tooth wethers, 7s Jkl to Ss; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, Us, 11s od, lls fid; weavers, 25s to 07s Lid; 2% and 3yr heifers in calf, £o Is to £8 Gs. The Loau aud Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on their sale held yesterday at Pahiatua as follows:— We offered a fair yarding of sheep aud cattle. Sheep %vere somewhat easier, and failed to reach vendors' reserves. We sold ono line of s.m. ewes. Cattle, however, chauged hands freely at late rates. We quote:—S.m. ewes, ~s 3d ; fat cows. £3 14s to £4; forward cows, £2 10s to £3; store cows, £3 to £2 14s; bulls, £2 10s to £3; weaners, 14s, 24s to 335-.
