The Turkish Cabinet has adopted Admiral Gamble's schemo to spend five hundred thousand Turkish pounds annually in eight years for tho construction of two battleships, three cruisers aud ten destroyers. Most of the ships will be built in Britain. The Sultan has subscribed £100,000 towards the national naval fund.
