For the the maiden hunters, open hunters, and ladies' hunters, there are big iields entered, while the class for ladies' hacks is a particularly strong one. Amongst the competitors aro a number who take part in the Hawke's Bay and Palmerstou Shows, and an excursion to Dannevirke on this occasion should prove one not likely to be regretted. On the other hand, those making the trip will most certainly look forward to its repetition. The train service from Napier and Hastings suits admirably, and, railway excursion fares having been arranged for. the occasion, it is to be iioped that a large number of residents of tins district will make up their minds to visit the Show.
