Tbe Rongokokako cheese factory is railing 127 cases of cheese for Loudon to-day, and the Nireaha factory 270 cases.

The vital statistics for Eketahuna for January are :—Births 4, deaths 2, marriages 1.

The rainfall registered in Eketahuna for January was 5.96 inches. The rainfall for January, 1909, was 7.91 inches.

The annual meeting of the Eketahuna Public Hall Compauy will be held on February 11th. The year's working shows a profit of £4 12s (id, after providing for depreciation ou plant aud furniture. The buildiug lias been painted during the year, and tiiswlant is in good order. This Hall was built by residents more for the improvement of the town and to fill a long-felt want than with the object of making money. It is therefore satisfactory to find it paying for upkeep, and repairs. The accumulated credit balance to profit aud loss accouut is now £42 18s 4d.
