MESSAGE FROM LORD ROBERTS

(By Telegraph — Press Association.)

WELLINGTON, Friday

Field-Marshal Lord Roberts cables as follows to the Press Association :— "Have watched with profound satisfaction the adoption by the people of New Zealaud of the principle of universal manhood service in the defence of the Dominion.
