GLADSTONE NOTES.

(Special to Daily Times. , )

The Meus' Society held their usual fortnightly meetiug on Tuesday evening, when the Rev. A. T. Thompson, of Masterton, gave a very interesting address, entitled "A Student's Tramp Abroad." It was most interesting to hear about the different places visited and about the people, their ways and customs. At the conclusion of the meetiug Mr Thompson was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks.

The Young Women's Bible Class met on Tuesday afternoon, the subject being a Bible study. Next week a paper on "Girls and Their Ideals" will be given by Miss J. Strang. Shearing operations are now in full swing iv this part of the di&trict.
