" DRINK."

On Mouda.y evening next the muchtalked of picture "Driuk" will be presented by Messrs T. E. 'iaylor aud Henry Hayward. The story as it uufolds soon makes its purport understood, aud from thence onwards the interest of the audience is held spellbound. So graphic aud intense are the many incidents and the manner iv which they are depicted, that words are not necessary in bringing home the lesson contained in this story. The moral aspect is strongly in evidence and can be greatly appreciated by those who enjoy a subject with an objective meaning. The incidents are exceptionally thrilling and tragical, and are reproduced in so skilful a manner and intense enactment, as to be thoroughly enjoyed by thoso who relish a powerful dramatic production, although indifferent to the paramount object of the story. The film is an illustration of the high standard now reached in living picture entertainment, and the artistes engaged in depicting the story of the downfall of Ooupean through drink lose nothing in their thrilling effect. This picture can only be shown for one night; therefore those who intend seeing it are advised to book their seats, as there have already been numerous inquiries for tickets. The entertainment will include a number of other subjects to please all ages and tastes.
