TETTER, OR HERPES. This is characterised by an outbreak of small vesicles appearing in group?; as the vesicles increase in size, the fluid which they contain dries and scales off; the eruption is accompanied by a burning or smarting sensation, which is often very annoying to the patient. Another form appears in patches on the face and neck, on the hands and wrists, and in the joints. The patches are rough, inclined to crack, and have a raw appearance; the fluid from the surface dries, and is thrown off in bran-like scales; and its duration is often protracted. It is caused by immoderate use of rich and indigestible food, and a morbid condition of the cutaneus excretions. External application is of little use in effecting a cure, the use of that great stomach and liver tome and blood purifier IMHEYS' MAY APPLE is the speediest and surest cure. For all affections of the skin this remedy is unequalled. MrT. Cooke, 43, Martinsquare, Wellington, says:—"l used IMfEY'S MAY APPLE for pimples on the face, and its effects simply astonished me." If you suffer, try it— 2s 6d per bottle.*
