A sad shooting fatality occurred tiiis moruiug. resulting in the death of Robert McMillan, Borough In-spect-in". The deceased went out into the yard to shoot a cat. A few minutes after, ho was found iv a state of collapse, tho pea rifle having gone off accidentally, aud the pellet entered his breast. Ho died half-au-hour later. He leaves a widow and family of nine.
