Special Advertisements. HEALTH & STRENGTH FOR MEN. THE PHYSICAL CULTURE CLASSES for MEN at the V.M.C.A. will commence on MONDAY NEXT, at 8 p.m. MR R. O. JARRETT has already demonstrated his ability for the position of Instructor, and a large number of Masterton men will avail themselves of the opportunity to build up strong and healthy bodies. Mr Jarrett's system is a combination of the best systems now in vogue. The V.M.C.A. Hall is being fitted up with all the necessary appliances to carry out thoroughly the work of the classes, including Developers, Chest Expanders, Dumb-bells, Bar-bells, Punch Ball, Boxing Gloves, Mais, Spirometer, and large Padded Mattrass for Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling. Development Competitions for medals will be held at the end of each term. The Classes are open to Members of the Association. Many men join the V.M.C.A. for the intellectual classes, others for the educational classes, others again for the religious work. You may join for the PHYSICAL CULTURE CLASSES, the fee for which includes a year's membership fee to the Association. You miy then take advantage of all the privileges of the V.M.C.A. Ask the General Secretary for a prospectus.
