MASTERTON WOOL AND SKIN SALES.

Messrs Leviu aud Co., Ltd., report as follows:—We held our monthly ___le yesterday, offering 30 bales auSR bags of wool, 3300 skius, 800 hides, and a quantity of tallow. There was the usual atteudauce of buyers, aud competitiou was brisk. There were several lots of the uew season's clip offering, which realised per lb. Skius sold at last sale's level. We quote:—Wool—Medium crossbred wool 4d to 4_4;d, inferior 3d to 3%d, pieces aud looks 2d t03,..<d. crutchiugs 2d to 314U Skius—Fiue crossbreds 5d to 5%d. crossbreds 4d to sd, dead skius 3d to 41-4' d, dead hoggets 3:1 to lamb skins 4d to sd, inferior pelted aud short Id to Tallow —Tins 18s 6d, casks 205." rough fat Kis. Hides—Ox hides 4d to 4%' d, cow hides 4d to cut aud slippy hides 2d to 3%' d. stag hides 2d to bull hides 2d to 3%d, calf, best 6u to medium od to 6d, iuferior 2d' to sd. Our next sale will be held on December 16th, at 1 p.m.

The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association, L.d., aud Dalgery aud Co., Ltd., report as follows: — We held cur mouthlv sale of wool, bkius aud bides yesterday, offeriug a good catalogue of wool iv bales aud bags, 2000 sheepskins aud 1050 hides aud a quantity of and rabbit skins. There was the usual atteudauce of buyers, aud prices obtaiued must be considered good, wheu taking into consideration the preseut low state of the market. We quote:—Wool:—Fleece od to dead wool to crutchiugs 2}4d to 3d. Skins—Crossbred, heavy 4d~ to 4.% d, crossbred, five 4%d to s}4d, dead skins 3d to 4%d, hoggets 4iJ-d to lambs,inferior 3d. Hides —Cow '£%d to 3 7 sd. cow, slippy 3%d to m, cow, inferior to cow, dead 3%d, ox 3J4'd to 4d, yearlings 4d, calf o%& to 6%d, calf, cut h\i d, calf, inferior to 4 Horsehair—ls 2d per lb. Kabbitskius—s%d per lb. Our next sale will be held on 16th December.
