EDUCATION BOARD.
[.Special to Daily Times.)
A circular held over from the previous meeting from the Auckland Board, asking the Board's concurrence in a protest against the new proposals of the Department respecting technical instruction, because the allowances ■were reduced, was cousidered. The report of the secretary of the Technical School was adverse to the change. Mr Stewart;, secretary of the Board, said the effect on the school classes would not be prejudiced.
