FLAXLAND FARM, AHIAKOUKA.

The Ahiakouka district having for several years attracted the everincreasine: interest of those who are aware of the richness and quality of the soil, some of whom have become permanent settlers and are doing well, it is now almost unnecessary to give more than a passing account of the land and its capabilities. The Flaxland farm portion of Ahiakouka comprises three huudred and sixty acres, and is famous for its quality for agricultural and fattening purposes. The property has been carefully subdivided into six sections, comprising 35, 45, 57, Go and 125 acres, each of which is suitable for dairyiug or mixed farming. Rape and oats are grown with highly satisfactory results. The Flaxland estate is considered one of the best in the North Island for farming in all its brandies, the soil being of great depth and very rich. During the dry weather recently experienced there was abundance of green feed, and depastured in the various paddocks could be seen no less than 350 bullocks. Levin and Co., Ltd. (in conjunction with Mr J. R. Nicol), have received instructions to sell by auction the whole of this estate iv the various areas as advertised. The sale will be held in the Foresters' Hall, Greytown, on Saturday next, August Ist, 1908.
