The Xew Zealand Loan aiirl Merutile Agency Co., Ltd., report their clearing sale at Hawkhurst. yesterday, on account of Mr F. S. Hunt. The attendance was good, the stock being of an attractive class and also unreBidding was tree and spirited .akhroughout, every lot finding purat sound good prices, ewes and lambs, shorn, making 17s 7d, empty ewes 13s 3d, rams % to 1 guinea. Dairy cows ranged from £3 10s to £G 17s Gel, odd cows, dry, 40s to 60s, cows and calves 50s, yearlings 355, small calves ( .)s, pigs 22s' (kl, draught geldings up to £42. aged and hacks £G to £14;- buggy, gig, cart, drays, harness, implements, etc., at fair prices: poultry, furniture and sundries at sound'rates, the result being a very satisfactory sale.
