SCHOOLS COMPETITION.

WELLINGTON, Last Night,

The annual shooting competition tor the secondary schools of the Dominion have been completed for the present year, and have resulted in a win for Wellington for the third year in succession. Twelve teams competed. The conditions were ten shots each at 200 yds and 500 yds. Private H. E. Focke, of Wellington, was the highest individual scorer with a total of 69

Following are the various teams' totals:—Wellington College 512, Nelson 485, Otago Boys' High School 476, Auckland Grammar School 434, Christ, church College 425, Marlborough 422, Wanganui 414, Waitaki 405, Timaru 403, Southalnd 385, Ashburton 383, Palnierston North 358.
