Land «_*» d Pr_ _*_*>_. PROVED BEST BY TEST. MURTON'S ill 1 ' SHEEP DIPPING FLUID. TWENTY YEARS AGO a committee appointed by the Canterbury A. and P.. Association conducted atiial of vatious sheep dipping compounds used in that district. The following points were taken into consideration in deciding the merits of the dips : 1. Best conditioned wool at shearing, having especial regard to strength of staple, degree of stain, and brightness of the wool 2. The most effectual destroyer of para- 7' sites. 'Tj 3. The most effectual preventive from reinfection. 4. Effect en sheep at dipping, and general character of the dip. The maximum of points that cwM be gained was 32, and, after exhaustiflOpials, Murton's Invention was placed first with 28 points. Those who have tried the various dips in New Zealand are of the same opinion to-day -—that Murton's Invention has no equal as an effectual destroyer of parasites, giving a bright and clean fleece with a good tip. This fluid is made by a man who has had forty years' experience in the wool trade, and who has devoted years of scientific investigation to bringing the dip up to its present splendid state of efficiency. A Few Recent Opinions Upon This Valuable Specific. W. G. JERRAM, Waikohu, Te Karaka,. Gisborne. Bth October, 1907. I have used your dip for some years past," and have always found it a very satisfactory dip to use. This year I have not seen a tick in the flock, which speaks for itself, and the wool is in very good condition. LIONEL C. BAXBY, Mangataikapua, Whatatutu. "> October 11th, 1007. Having used Murton's Dip for a number of years, I am pleased to state that it has always given entire satisfaction. I consider it most efficient in connection with the destruction ot ticks and lice on sheep, and intend to continue its use. SAMUEL PARKER, Frankton Junction, Waikato. September 10th, 1907. I have pleasure in stating that I have found Murton's Dip most effectual. I dip twice at an interval of 14 days, and consequently I have no ticks at all. P.S.—My experience is that there is no dip that will kill all the eggs of either ticks or scab, therefore the second dipping I believe is necessary to keep your flock quite clean. F. W.
