Amongst the Wairarapa cheese despatched iv the Tougariro on Thursday next will be :—Dalefield, 455 cases; Parkvale, 200 cases; Belvedere, 150 cases ; Taratahi, 200 cases.

A concert held in aid of the Featherstou School on Friday night, went off most enjoyably. Over £11 was taken at the door, and when all claims are met the school prize fund should benefit conisderably.

The death occurred at Featherstou ou Saturday of the wife of Mr Thomas Perkins. Death was due to bronchitis. Deceased was 60 years of age.
