MEETING OF WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION.

REP. FIXTURE WITH WELLING-

TON ABANDONED,

At a special meeting of the Wairarapa Cricket Association, it was decided, on the motion of Mr D. K. Logan (who was in the chair), seconded by Mr Hart, that the representative fixtnre with Wellington bo not held, owing to the impossibility of of seudiug a full team away for the match. The Secretary road a letter from the West Coast Association with reference to arranging a match with Wairarapa. It was decided to inform the West Coast Association that the Wairarapa Association would play them at Mastertou on January 23rd and 24th. Hearty votes of thanks were accorded to Messrs W. C. Buchanan aud W. E. Bidwlll for donations to the funds of the Association. Mr Coggins applied for a transfer from the Featherston to the Carterton Club, a request which was granted.

Following are the remaining fixtures drawn for the first round :— January 4th and 11th—Oarterton v. Masterton B, at Carterton; Carltou A v. Mastertou A, at Masterton; Featherston v. Carlton B. at Masterton. January 18th aud 25th—Carlton B v. Cartertou, at Carter ton; Masterton A v. Featherston, at Mastertou; Masterton B v. Carlton A, at Masterton.
