NAPIER, This Day.

A firo was discovered in the laundry of the Boys' High School early this moruing. The prompt attendance of the Brigade prevented tho flames from spreading to the maiu building. The laundry was insured iv the Norwich Union for £150. About £100 worth of linen was destroyed.

Two hours later the brigade was callod out agaiu to a fire in Marist Brothers School, au old wooden structure. The flames had obtained the mastery, and tho buildiug'Vas gutted iv a very short time.

Insurances were £700 on the school aud £50 on the fittings, both in the Atlas office.

Incendiarism is suspected in both
