Dγ J. T. MacNamara, M.P. for North Division of Camberwell, and Secretary of the Local GovernmentBoard, when Saint Patrick's Day was being celebrated at Peckham, was admitted a member of Dulwich and Nappertandy branch of the Irish National League of Britain. This is the first instance of a Minister joining a militant Irish organisation.
