" Old Napier Boy" writes to the Hawke's Bay Herald combating reports that the cost of " doing the Exhibition is anything from 30s to £3. He has made out a complete list of the cost of everything not included in the Is admission. This shows that for less than 15s one can see everything that there is to be seenfand, as there are amusements in the list which some people would not care to indulge in, the cost to those people would be proportionately less. The following is the list:—Art gallery (two days of week free), other days, 6d ; Maori pah,6d ; Fijians, 6d ; concert hall, Is; West's Pictures, 6d; cyclorama, Is; buckjumpers, Is; waterchute, 6d; toboggan, 3d; Katzenjammer Castle, 6d ; camels, 3d ; dragon, 2d ; The Pike (several shows), say 3s; Enchanted Parlour, 6d ; model colliery, 6d ; shooting gallery, 6d ; working models, 6d ; merry-go-round, 3d; air-ship, 6d; motor launches, 6d. The correspondent mentions that the cost of obtaining first-class accommodation is little, if any, dearer than in the other chief cities of New Zealand at the present time.
